The night started of well and we left Braintree and headed for Thaxted, well that was the plan! we just got out of Dunmow and my front tyre blew, it through me about 40foot along the road in to the path of oncoming traffic, i curled my self in to a ball and braced myself for the impact as i rolled down the road. I got up with the help of bren, gary, sam, craig (A BIG THANKYOU GUY'S) and could not believe I had missed all the cars. we changed the blown tyre and headed back to Dunmow as the only damage to my scoot was scrapes to the crash bars,(see not only for show!!!) and a couple of smashed lights/mirrors.we found a pub and had a quick drink then headed back home. lets hope the next one is a lot more pleasant.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune Big Mick, ive just replied to Starkees request for info about tyres, i feel a bit guilty now! Hope you and the Scoot arent too bruised, put slyme in your tubes i can tell you it works i did a couple of Enduros some time ago and the lads there used to use it you could see where they had picked up punctures but the tube had 'repaired' itself and stayed inflated to finish the race.
