hi guys, this may sound like a really stupid question but i have a GP200 with hydraulic disc brake. I have stainless steel wheel rim to put on it but i have never had to change a front wheel on a lambretta never mind one with the outboard disc brakes. How easy/hard is it? Now stop laughing all of you and help me out lol mark

;Dmarkupdate!! I got that new dvd thru the post this morning and very helpful it is too. Its the lambretta one in this months scootering, its ok with normal brakes but with this disc thing it looks more complicated and they dont even mention outboard ones on it. Its a very handy guide if you have no experiance with fixing stuff yourself, i recommend it for novices like me, mark

Hi Mark All you do is undo the 2 nuts that hold the wheel to the forks(1 either side), then the wheel should drop down and out of the Clamp. then remove the wheel and tyre from the disc hub, change wheel/tyre then repeat process to put it back in.. i even think you wont have to disconect the hydraulic hose ... Should take no more than 30 mins Chris

Hi everyone, i have only bloody done it!!! Had a little difficulty at first. If anyone else has one heres what ya do. Undo bottom damper bolts and move dampers away. Undo all wheel rim nuts and move rim away from hub. Undo the disc brake holding nuts and let disc brake hang by cable. Then undo wheel nuts and let hub drop down. Remove wheel rim, and just reverse the order to put everything back together. ;D mark
